CAIRO, July 19 (Aswat Masriya) – A new law demarking Egypt’s electoral constituencies will be issued after the creation of three new governorates, a judicial source said on Saturday.

The Ministry of Local Development and Ministry of Interior are working on a re-demarcation of borders between existing governorates to create three news ones, the source told Aswat Masriya.

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi issued a decree to form an election commission tasked with preparing for parliamentary elections and holding them before the end of the year.

In his electoral platform, Sisi had pledged to create new governorates and to re-map Egypt for achieving greater development.
